Updates and Weather

Here are a few updates for what's been going on.
  • Adrian has made it back into Lambton County to join us.
  • We've been checking and organizing existing gear.
    • Canoes / Kyake / Life Vests / Paddles
  • Figuring out foooooooood
Most packing will probably get done just the day before.

THE WEATHER LOOKS AMAZING

Sunny Sunny Sunny.
We will be launching on Friday, hopefully around Noon at the latest.  It would be great if this weather stays same/similar and doesn't rain, snow, hail, thunderstorm on us like previous years.  In April it's always been sketchy for weather, rarely this nice, would be great to have a Sunny weekend straight through with these temps especially.. in April.

Canoe Trippin in 2016

Hello everyone, and welcome back.  Our canoe trip is fast approaching are we'll be again posting here to provide family and friends evidence of our trip as we go along, and peace of mind that we're doing OK.

Let's go over some information which we know so far about our trip and setup some links.

The NEW LINK FOR THIS BLOG IS
       canoetrippin.blogspot.com
                           (bookmark it)

The Weather...
The link we'll be using is for Brooke-Alvinston area.

Group Roster (including trip count including 2016)
Kevin (9), Scott (6), James (7), Ken (7), Philip (7), Randy (7), Adrian (5), Josh (4).
update: Scott is not able to make it this year.

The Trip
This year it looks again like we'll be launching again on Friday, but near a Saturday location.  We'll then be canoeing to a usual Camp Two but will be there on night one.  We'll then stay at Camp Two for 2 nights, then back to paddling to meet up with the St. Clair Conservation Authority Annual Canoe Race.

The Race
As done every year (pending weather I'm sure), the St. Clair Conservation Authority holds their Annual Canoe Race.. and we again will be attempting to join it, and compete in the 'Recreational Class', all on April 17th.

Our Blog
As we grow increasingly deep into this tech-age, it's become easier for us to take pictures/video during our trip, and network signals seem to be kept longer we've also been able to post information, pictures and even video WOW! So Follow Us, Share This, Leave Comments, Join Us on this adventure as we paddle, rest, camp and enjoy the great outdoors, so check back soon ;P

Here's a little video from our 2014 Trip to get the juices flowing
