Updates to 2015
We've been filling in some of the holes in our trip with pictures we took, but didn't upload them at that time. We can't upload everything during the trip.. signals not always good, and it would eat up our cell batteries and data. Once we've finished adding everyone's pictures to 2015, we'll be going back though some previous years and adding some long lost pictures ;P

Our Annual Canoe Trip Starts Tomorrow!
2015 Sydenham Canoe Trip, Almost Ready.
The Group (paired up)
Kevin (8th time) & Adrian (4th)
Philip (6th) & James (6th)
Randy (6th) & Josh (3rd)
The Mission
We'll hopefully be in the water around Noon Friday. Paddle for the day, landing in what would usually be our Camp 2, will now be our camp for 2 nights. RELAXING and ENJOYING THE GREAT OUTDOORS. Some of us probably need this more than others, but we're all going to enjoy it. We'll be missing out the company of one of our brother Kenny. Not everyone can always make it, life can get in the way, we all understand that. We'll see Ken next year I'm sure.
Opening up the Blog
As an admin (Philip) of the Canoe Trip blog, after this message I'll be sending everyone in our group the 'secret email address' to everyone on the trip, where anyone can send a message, picture, quote, anything to the email, and it will instantly be posted to this blog. No Special Apps Required.. we all have phones, and not everyone has the same OS. Androids, iPhones, and Blackberrys. They all have an email app, this makes it easy for everyone to contribute.
Tonight We Pack! (or tomorrow morning, w/e....)

Weather Check
Let's take a look at what the weather is forecast to be for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
As of the time of posting this; it looks awesome... it will probably end up snowing, hailing, thundershowers like it usually does by the time we actually get on the water. We'll see.

The 2015 Canoe Trip is Approaching
The Canoe Trip of the Year Approaches
Just some quick stats on who's in for the trip so far, what the weather's going to be like, and WHAAAT'S GOOOEEIIIN AAAAAAAAAN!
The Weather The Weather Network (Brooke-Alvinston)
Hopefully, it doesn't rain, snow, sleet, hail (too much).
It would be nice to have a sunny canoe trip.
The Group
The Roster So Far (Trip Count incl 2015):
Kevin (at least 8), James (6), Philip (6), Randy (6), Adrian (4), Josh (3).
As we're not sure on how many people are going as of yet, we haven't listed canoe pairing.
The Plan
We have a new plan this year. Usually we paddle, then camp, then paddle, then camp, then paddle, then race. 3 days of canoeing, and 2 nights of rest.
This year, depending on weather, we'll be dropping into the water in a different section, canoeing for the day, then spending 2 nights at one camp. This year we're going to enjoy a camp site for a full day, instead of just landing, building camp, sleep, and leaving.
The Race
We'll hopefully be joining the St. Clair Conservation Authority's Sydenham River Canoe and Kayak Race on April 19th. (Event Link Here)
Follow Us, Share This, Leave Comments, Join Us on this adventure. As we paddle, rest, camp, we'll be talking pictures, and maybe some video again, so check back soon ;P
Check out our posts from last year in our blog: cntrp.blogspot.ca (no vowels in "canoetrip")
Here's a video compilation from last year's trip.
